MMA fighters react to Justin Gaethje’s brutal victory vs Rafael Fiziev at UFC 286.

Justin Gaethje is searching for a significant fight, following his ‘Fight of the Night’ performance against Rafael Fiziev at UFC 286. He now embarks on what he refers to as his final quest for a UFC championship.

“I did what I had to do I fought someone ranked below me. I 100% believe that I deserve to fight someone ranked in front of me. The loser of the (Charles) Oliveira and (Beneil) Dariush fight. I’d rather not fight Dariush I love that dude,” Gaethje told reporters including Cageside Press at his post-fight scrum.

“I think he’s going to beat Oliveria. I fought like a complete idiot when I fought Oliveira so I would love to have that fight back, but Dustin (Poirier) is just as good as an option.”

  Conor McNate Diaz has alleged that the   UFC UFC   is keeping him “hostage” as their contract dispute rages on, according to   Jake Paul . When   Diaz   last competed in June 2021, Leon Edwards defeated him by decision. The American still has one fight left on his current UFC contract, but no opponent has been selected. The 37-year-old is consequently mired in uncertainty. The MMA Hour quoted Diaz as saying, “I was trying to get this s*** on the road, but they don’t want me out of contract and they’re keeping me in there and they’re holding me hostage.” I want out, too.
