 UFC 286 predictions: Leon Edwards will defends his welterweight world title for the first time against Kamaru Usman at UFC 286 in London on Saturday.

In August, the Birmingham fighter dethroned pound-for-pound great Usman to become only the second UFC champion from the United Kingdom.

The rivals are fighting for the third time and are tied with one win each.

 Can Edwards successfully defend his title, or will Usman ruin ‘Rocky’s’ homecoming?
“I’m the better fighter than him, I’m the better striker than him, and I’ve knocked him out before, so I’ll knock him out again,” Edwards, 31, promised.

  Conor McNate Diaz has alleged that the   UFC UFC   is keeping him “hostage” as their contract dispute rages on, according to   Jake Paul . When   Diaz   last competed in June 2021, Leon Edwards defeated him by decision. The American still has one fight left on his current UFC contract, but no opponent has been selected. The 37-year-old is consequently mired in uncertainty. The MMA Hour quoted Diaz as saying, “I was trying to get this s*** on the road, but they don’t want me out of contract and they’re keeping me in there and they’re holding me hostage.” I want out, too.
